Abstract
- A novel coumarin analogue, synthesized from 2-formylcinnamic acid and resorcinol via acid catalyzed condensation and intramolecular rearrangement, is used for pH-independent staining of lysosome in live cells via lysosomal esterase mediated fluorogenic deacetylation.
