Abstract

Maintenance is an important aspect of the entire life cycle of communication network devices. The existing maintenance environment of the communication network is complex, with various types of equipment components and complicated structures. The quality of maintenance is greatly affected by the ability and experience of on-site maintenance personnel, and the maintenance cost is high, and the efficiency is low. In order to decrease the difficulty of on-site maintenance and improve maintenance efficiency and quality, we proposed an augmented reality (AR) based edge maintenance architecture. Moreover, we propose a context model-based maintenance knowledge push algorithm (CMKP) to help on-site maintenance personnel obtain auxiliary information. This will provide on-site maintenance personnel with intelligent assistance and improve overall maintenance efficiency.
