Seepage Flow Analysis of Elastic Porous Media by Boundary Elements

A remark is made about a simplified derivation of boundary integral equations for Biot's linear consolidation theory in two dimensions. The method is traditional as has been done in thermoelasticity, but the generality and the simplicity are stressed for the treatment of linear elastic porous materials by the boundary element method.
