Accuracy of kinematic data collection, filtering and numerical differentiation

The study represents an experimental methodology for enhancing the calibration procedure in order to increase the accuracy and reliability of the kinematic data collection in biomechanics studies. The frequency response function of the on-line system was studied from tests with controlled input frequency. A parallel synchronised feedback signal with higher sampling frequency was designed to measure the true values of the kinematic derivatives.
