Abstract
- (η 5 -Cyclopentadienyl)(η 7 -cyclooctatrienyl) vanadium (1) can be obtained by a one-pot reaction in THF by starting from VCl 2 , NaCp (Cp=cyclopentadienyl), and K 2 Cot (Cot=cyclooctatetraene) as simple educts and with subsequent hydrolysis. The monodeuterated derivative 1-d is obtained on hydrolysis of the reaction mixture with D 2 O
