Abstract
- The Awakening is a story about women awakening, and it is also a story about extramarital affairs. By using feminist narration theory to analyze the relationship between Edna and the four men, namely Mr. Pontellier, Edna’s father, Arobin and Robert, we can have a deeper understanding of Edna’s emotional attitudes and values, and reflect on the relationship between people and the choice of life path.
