Body weight information may not only assist in creating a more complete biological profile but may also provide insight into other forensic considerations. Body weight involves a variety of cultural and physical variables. The purpose of this study is to assess the utility of footprint measurements in weight estimation among Bidayuh population, mostly residing in east Malaysia. The body weight and footprints were collected following the standard procedure. The data obtained were analyzed with PASW 20 computer software and derived regression formulae. Investigation revealed that all footprint lengths exhibit statistically positive significant correlation with body weight (p
