Effects of GPR Wireless Synchronization During Common Depth Point Hodograph Plotting

Abstract

Using wireless synchronization in GPR studies, we observe the stepwise effects on the hodograph images, resulting from a great increase in the distance between the receiving and transmitting antenna units. As the transmitter-receiver offset increases, reflections from the upper layers can be completely lost, resulting in the overestimation of velocities in the layered structures.
