Melting curve of metals with defect: Pressure dependence

Abstract
- The high-pressure melting curve of metals with defects has been studied using statistical moment method. The melting was investigated at different high pressures, the melting temperature of Al, Cu, Fe, and W metals with defects being in good agreement with previous experiments and several theoretical calculations. Finally, a P – V – T equation of states is obtained, the pressure dependences of the melting curve of metals with defects being estimated.
