ChemInform Abstract: Novel 1,3,4-Heterodiazole Analogues: Synthesis and in vitro Antitumor Activity

Acylation of the amino group of (I) and subsequent cyclization on N-3 afford the annulated imidazooxa/thiadiazolones (III) and (V) while reaction of (I) with malononitrile (VI) in the presence of a calculated amount of triethylamine yields the oxa/thiadiazolopyrimidines (VII).
