Abstract
- Based on the opposite response of self-defocusing and self-focusing media to the light intensity changes, a novel design is investigated in detail. Numerical analyses show the device can be used at relatively low threshold. At the same time, the analyses also show some factors influence the threshold, such as the nonlinear index coefficient and the linear index difference.
