Abstract

Ca3TaGa3Si2O14 (CTGS) crystals are a new promising material from the lanthanum-gallium silicate family, which can be employed in high-temperature sensors and other acoustoelectronic devices. The structural perfection and acoustic properties of CTGS crystals have been investigated via X-ray topography and diffractometry at the BESSY II synchrotron radiation source in the geometry of a double-crystal X-ray diffractometer.
