Les sensations entre plasticité, ombre et arrière-plan

Sensations are considered here from various viewpoints. Seen from the angle of the experiences of autistic children and of their function as defences in babies, they appear to be impediments to the fluidity of the mind. But clinical experience with adult patients allows us to consider them also as facilitators of the associative process in the session. Some extracts from the case of an adult woman patient show the importance of sensations in the transfor-mation of the flow of excitations as well as in the participation in the sense of a continuity of being, the creation of new fantasy symbolizations, and the formation of the body-ego.
