A three-dimensional model with a kink and a Higgs mechanism

In a conformally invariant scalar field theory on the three-sphere, a scalar-spinor theory with Yukawa interaction, Higgs Mechanism and fixed couplings is shown to arise from the curved geometry. This model admits a threefold description and an exact one-kink solution. Implications are discussed.
