Abstract
- Two newly isolated actinomycetes were identified as streptomyces strain F-6 and F-7. Both of them are possessed of laccase activity. Manganese peroxidase activity of strain F-6 is in very high level(1254.5ul-1).Removal of lignin by F-6, F-7 are more than 50% in 12 days. GC-MS analysis showed strain F-6 could convert lignin into phenol and broken phenol compounds. They may co-culturing with white rot fungus and decompose lignin. Keywords- streptomyces; alkali lignin; biodegradation
