Abstract
- A simple method for the drying, on filter paper, of sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide disc gels is described. This method has been successfully applied to disc gels with polyacrylamide concentrations of 5, 10, and 15%, and also with a linear gradient of 5–15%. The gels dehydrated without any longitudinal shrinkage are suitable for longtime storage and may be used for molecular weight estimation of proteins.
