A meta-analysis of epidemiology and outcome of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests during COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea

Regional analysis of the current literature comparing the outcome and epidemiology of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) in South Korea during COVID-19 pandemic vs pre-pandemic is needed. This systematic review and meta-analysis investigated the epidemiology and outcome including mortality, survival to admission, and favorable neurological outcome of OHCA during COVID-19 pandemic comparing with prepandemic in South Korea.
