Abstract
- The microscopic pore structure is the base platform of the pore-scale microscopic percolation mechanism research. This paper mainly introduce a proposed algorithm for generating the stochastic network which can be used to represent he pore space of rock with given input pore and throat size distributions and connectivity ¨C these distributions can be obtained from an analysis of pore-space images. We adopt Mersenne Twister random number generator to generate the network, pore-space spatial correlations are considered in this paper. Quasi-static two-phase model is also used to verify the validity of the stochastic network.
