Abstract

The separation of the four stereoisomers of [(Ru(bpy)2)2(bpt)](PF6)3 (where bpy = 2,2‘-bipyridine, Hbpt = 3,5-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole) by semipreparative HPLC is reported. The emission properties of the isomers obtained have been studied as a function of the enantiomeric purity of the solvent.
