Abstract
- The construction industry being a major sector that contributes greatly for economic growth of the country and also created adverse effects on the environment. This has encouraged the development of sustainable materials through research in recent times. Furthermore, construction of building majorly get delayed due to hand compaction or vibrating of concrete during casting, considering all this factors in this study research was carried out on developing Self-Compacting Geopolymer Concrete (SCGC) with use of various industrial byproducts such as Flyash, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) and Alccofine in varying binder percentage of 80:10:10, 65:20:15, 50:25:25. The results showed highest mechanical strength and durability characteristics for 65:20:15 binder ratio.
