Recovery from PTSD and Facets of Emotion Regulation: Reciprocal Influences

Although positive associations between emotion regulation and PTSD have been consistently found in the literature, only limited research has examined the reciprocal relations between the two constructs. Until now, no study has investigated the reciprocal relations between emotion regulation and PTSD in a clinical sample. This study will therefore shed light on the relations between emotion regulation and the recovery of PTSD over time, whilst also breaking emotion regulation down into its distinct facets. Repeated Measures ANOVAs and cross-lagged panel models will be used to analyse the data.
