Abstract

The excitation functions of heavy residues produced in the interaction of 12 C with 103 Rh have been re-analysed theoretically by taking various competing reaction mechanisms into account. An initial-state dissipative interaction between the projectile and the target nucleus as well as the incomplete fusion of non-α-type fragments has been added to the analysis.
