Abstract
- Ovarian mature cystic teratomas are the commonest germ cell tumors of the ovary. Malignant transformation in them is a rare event and is difcult to diagnose preoperatively. Clinicians, pathologists and radiologists should always suspect this if the patient is elderly or when the cyst is large or in presence of a solid foci. Here, we discuss two cases of squamous cell carcinoma arising from a mature cystic teratoma
