OVARIAN MATURE CYSTIC TERATOMA WITH TRANSFORMATION INTO SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA: REPORT OF TWO CASES

Ovarian mature cystic teratomas are the commonest germ cell tumors of the ovary. Malignant transformation in them is a rare event and is difcult to diagnose preoperatively. Clinicians, pathologists and radiologists should always suspect this if the patient is elderly or when the cyst is large or in presence of a solid foci.
