Multisimulation Model for Stirling and Vuilleumier Cycle Machines

A multisimulation model based on the isothermal analysis is developed, which is able to calculate the fundamental characteristics of ST and VM machines, and its effectiveness in the prediction of performance is inspected by comparing the calculated results with those obtained using the 3rd-order model. We clarify that the refrigerator and engine divided in the VM machine are both ST machines, and investigate the relationship between the characteristics of these ST machines and the VM machine
