Aspects du metabolisme des phospholipides chez Tribolium confusum

In order to investigate phospholipid metabolism we have devised a technique which enabled us to measure incorporation of dietary labelled precursors into various lipid and non-lipid fractions in Tribolium confusum . The results obtained with this insect seem to differ from those previously reported for other insect species. The metabolism of the various precursors, their importance, and the utility of the method used are discussed.
