Abstract
- An original technique for aligning the receiving channel of a pulsed laser rangefinder is proposed. The alignment includes focusing of the photodetector and matching with the axis of the sighting channel of the rangefinder. All alignment operations are performed in the visible spectral range using a collimator setup with a telescope. The accuracy of the proposed method is estimated, and an illustration of the experiment is given.
