Abstract
- The lattice Boltzmann model for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation is proposed. The new model is based on the technique of the higher order moment of equilibrium distribution functions and a series of lattice Boltzmann equations in different time scales. The Euler equations are derived from the nonlinear Schrodinger equation by removing non-physical pressure. We have simulated two irrotational flows. These numerical results agree well with classical ones.
