Abstract

The paper deals with the problem of identification of microstructure evolution model on the basis of two-step compression test. This test is characterized by non-uniform fields of strains, stresses and temperatures in the deformation zone. Therefore, the inverse approach with finite element model for the experiment – direct problem, was applied to eliminate the influence of these inhomogeneities. Inverse solution for two-step compression test is time consuming. Thus, sensitivity analysis was performed and an influence of the parameters of the microstructure model on the goal function defined in the inverse solution was evaluated. Data generated for sensitivity analysis was reused in the inverse approach to reduce the computation costs of identification.
