Abstract
- A total of 274 individuals from Congo, concerning four populations (Beti, North Bateke, South Bateke and Babenga), has been typed for red cell PGM 1 using isoelectric focusing (pH range 5–7) in polyacrylamide gels. The gene frequencies of the four common alleles were mutually compared among them and then in the context of data known on the Subsaharan populations.
