Abstract

A sea urchin-like amorphous MgNiCo mixed metal hydroxide uniformly grown on nickel foam is synthesized by a one-step hydrothermal process. Mg0.5Ni0.5Co-OH shows efficient overall water-splitting performance under alkaline industrial conditions.
