Abstract: We are a group of psychology undergraduate students at Houghton College completing this study as a component of our Experimental Methods course during the 2022 Spring semester. We are replicating a study done by (Troy et. at, 2017) which looked at depressive symptoms in regards to socioeconomic status, and cognitive reappraisal ability. We also added an additional covariate of perceived social support.
