Abstract
- This paper presents structural concepts of SST(supersonic transport) that is supposed to be in a Mach 2.2 to 2. 5 class. The primary factor that affects the structural concept is a aerodynamic heating caused in high speed flying. In this study, main structures using materials that have sufficient heat- resisting properties are analyzed about heat transfer, thermal stress, and flight load.
