Abstract

Monolithically electro-absorption modulating the DFBLD with pre-emphasized PAM-4 data at 52 Gbaud (104 Gbit/s) for back-to-back link and 48 Gbaud (96 Gbit/s) after 10-km-long SMF transmissions is demonstrated for inter-data-center application.
