Abstract

Effects of electron beam (EB) irradiation on Tc are investigated for YBa2Cu3O7 − y. The aging at room temperature increases Tc after EB irradiation. The maximum Tc (mid point, max{T}c) depends on Tc before irradiation. The higher Tc, the higher maxTc becomes. Using X-ray diffraction analysis, these effects are explained.
