ChemInform Abstract: Rhodium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Hydrogenation of Unprotected β-Enamine Phosphonates

For the first time, a strategy for the enantioselective Rh-TaniaPhos catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of unprotected β-enamine phosphonates directly to free β-amino phosphonates is reported which occurs with high yields and good enantioselectivities (up to 86% ee).
