The main research methods in the paper are theoretical analysis, 3D modelling and comparison. The research set the following goals:Consideration of the jack's counterparts, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages.Calculation of the main parameters of the product to be designed.Developing a design that satisfies the purpose of the work.Determining the manufacturing technology and selecting the materials for the jack.Calculation of the strength of the designed structure.In the first paragraph of the paper, analogues of the designed product are considered, a comparison of various designs of pneumatic jacks is made, the principle of operation, advantages, and disadvantages of pneumatic jacks their features are considered. Next, the basic parameters of the jack are calculated, and the results are used to develop the design of the jack with some improvements. In the final design, materials for all parts of the jack are selected and the technology of their manufacture is determined. In the next paragraph, strength calculations of the finished jack design are made in SolidWorks-SolidWorks Simulation, calculation results are given in the form of stress and displacement diagrams of the active part of the jack and some characteristic dimensions of the jack are specified.
