Abstract

The mechanisms of heat transfer in high-performance hydrogen bell-type annealing furnaces are discussed in this paper. It examines two important parameters, the convective heat transfer coefficient and the equivalent radial thermal conductivity, which have large effects on the overall heat transfer in the furnace.
