Abstract

The application of dynamic light scattering to flow measurements has proven a valuable tool in order to determine cartesian velocity components of a flow seeded with light scattering particles. Main advantages compared to other methods are that, on the one hand, there is no influence of the measuring device on the flow, and on the other hand there is no gauging necessary because only geometrical factors enter the final result.
