Abstract
- Generic and process-independent equivalent circuit model for simulating the performance of spiral inductor used in monolithic microwave integrated circuit design on gallium-arsenide substrate is presented. New formulas for the series inductor and feedback capacitor are presented. The experimental verification shows the proposed scalable model can be used as the prediction and optimization of spiral inductor performance.
