AGE AND LOCATION OF TYPE MATERIAL. — Frasnian (Upper Devonian), Gogo Formation, Western Australia. TAXON CODE. — 100. STATUS. — Valid. DIAGNOSIS. — “A very large skeleton with two shells; the outer shell consisting of a polygonal (four-to eight-sided) or irregular lattice that is extremely loose, completely two-dimensional, partly or wholly three-dimensional, or incompletely latticed; straight or drooping bars forming meshwork; an irregularly latticed inner shell; the eight-rayed internal spicule with a median bar, no inner apophyses, with or without outer apophyses.” (Won 1997a: 366).
