Human engineering on prosthesis

Some problems on the prosthesis were discussed in this paper from the view point of human engineering. Recently, engineers have many interests on the prosthesis problem. Almost of their interests have been aimed only to the hardware, in spite of many hard problems are contained in the software.The problems on the prosthesis should be developed as a prosthesis system which is constructed of the amputee and the prosthesis.It is very important thing to develope a excellent prosthesis system not only on the hardware, but also on the software, especially on the man-machine interface problem, or it does not be usefull for the rehabilitation of the amputee.Some examples of the software problem as a section of the rehabilitation engineering, i. e., socket, human engineeing of the amputee, the alignment of the prosthesis and the rehabilitation taming, were discussed here.Human engineering is a very important technique for the developement of these problems.
