Abstract
- Interface concern is one of the most critical issues to fully utilize the exceptional energy storage capability enabled by solid-state electrolyte and Li metal anode. In this issue of Joule, Whitacre, Matyjaszewski, and co-workers presented a semiliquid lithium metal anode (SLMA) flowable at room temperature to afford sufficient contacts with solid-state electrolyte, outlining a practical strategy to achieve a conformal interface for favorable ion conduction.
