Design object: The pier and protective structure on the Barents sea in the Severomorsk region. Purpose of the work: design of protective construction and the pier. Tasks of work: Justify the choice of types of structures; Calculate external loads on the structure; Clarify the preliminary overall dimensions of the structure; Carry out a graphic-analytical calculation of the sheet pile wall; Calculate the efforts in piles and determine the depth of the piles. The relevance of the work and its practical significance lies in the possibility of erecting such structures on the basis of the calculation methods used in the work, in accordance with the standards that were taken into account in these calculations.
