Abstract
- The authors present measurements of the Mossbauer effect for two specimens of the magnetic superconductor Y9Co7 doped with 57Co and 119Sn. The shape and asymmetry of the observed quadrupole spectra were ascribed to the individual features of the three non-equivalent cobalt positions in the Y9Co7 structure. Below the Curie temperature an apparent broadening of the spectra was observed which persists into the superconducting state.
