Abstract
- A technique for collecting eggs of the sunflower moth, Homoeosoma electellum (Hulst), for artificially infesting sunflower, Helianthus annuus L., is described. Eggs laid on blue-green velour pads (0.95 by 0.95 cm) and stored in the refrigerator (4.4°C) for up to 7 days are used to infest plants with the desired number of larvae.
