Abstract
- Nondestructive assessment of haulage ropes is essential for aerial ropeways. An attempt has been made in this paper to compare the performance of drive and counter haulage ropes in a zig-back bi-cable aerial ropeway. The study has been carried out over two life span of ropes in the installation.
