Abstract
- This paper develops the concept, design and implementation of a pressure measurement system for endotracheal intubated patients. The system was tested both in laboratory and in a hospital environment during normal operating conditions. Sensing blocks are part of a hospital sensor network, which aims to acquire as many variables per patient as required by medical personnel. The system was developed by the Electronic and Electromecatronics Systems Research Group (GISEE) of the Universidad Nacional del Sur. This work describes the conception, design, system development and the finished product accomplished.
