Abstract
- The isothermal crystallization behaviors and kinetics for a hydrogenated diblock copolymer of polybutadiene and isoprene-co-butadiene were studied by means of dilatometry. It was clearly observed and discussed that both primary and secondary crystallization processes co-exist in this crystallization system. The crystallization kinetic parameters, kc and n, determined from two different analytical methods were in good agreement within the experimental temperature range for the stage of primary crystallization. The kinetic parameters determined independently from dilatometry and differential scanning calorimetry for the given polymer were also compared.
