Deraecorinae of New Zealand (Miridae: Heteroptera)

Three genera and 14 species of Deraeocorinae are now known from New Zealand. Nine new species of Romna Kirkaldy, R. albata, R. bicolor, R. cuneata, R. nigrovenosa, R. oculata, R. or nata, R.pallida, R. uniforms, and R. variegata are described and figured (as are the five previously known species). Keys to the genera of Deraeocorinae in New Zealand and to the 12 species of Romna are provided. Lectotypes and type localities are designated for Morna capsoides White and Morna scotti White, and a type locality for Romna marginicollis (Reuter).
