Abstract

Summary Sialoblastomas are very rare congenital tumors of the salivary gland that usually occur in parotid or submandibular glands. They can be benign or malignant histologically. The recommended treatment for sialoblastoma is the excision of tumor totally and widely. Alternative therapies for sialoblastoma treatment remains controversial, chemotherapy may be an alternative treatment for relapsed or metastatic sialoblastomas. In this report we describe a malignant and relapsed sialoblastoma at cheek region.
